2015 Boffa, Ovello - Barbaresco DOCG - 6 Flessen (0.75 liter)

The origins of Cantina Boffa date back to the beginning of the twentieth century – in 1920, when Boffa Carlo, the founder, met and married Maria. The couple settled down in Barbaresco, where the bride came from.
When Carlo died, in 1978, Pietro and his wife Marisa founded the Azienda Vitivinicola Boffa Carlo in 1968, when their son Carlo was born and their first vintage of Barbaresco was made.
Carlo and Laura have modernized the winery and, in 2014 their then twenty-year-old son Gabriele joined the family business – he is involved in the actual winemaking, in tending the vineyards and keeping in touch with importers and customers.
