At the core of all high power LED Grow Lights is the 50W integrated LED, featuring multiple 3W chips affixed to a silver-plated copper slug for maximum heat dissipation. Integrated LEDs deliver high performance in a small footprint with the same 50,000 hour lifespan as 3W LEDs. The design of integrated LEDs reduces manufacturing costs over packaging LED chips individually, creating a more economic means of producing LED Grow Lights.
Each Integrated LED uses our proprietary 3rd generation blend of five different chip wavelengths to promote vigorous growth and plentiful harvests. The chips are protected via a translucent bonding sealant from the outside environment, however do not use a primary lens like the traditional (1W, 3W, 5W) LEDs found in traditional LED Grow lights.
The Extreme LED Grow Lights were the first LED Grow Lights in the world to implement a modular manufacturing process, and now this process has been passed along. Modular design means that each part can be altered or replaced without affecting the remainder of the system. Before modular manufacturing process, if a LED failed the entire light had to be shipped back to the factory for repair. For growers relying on a single light to power their small garden, sending the light back to the manufacturer during the middle of a grow meant a loss of the entire crop.
With modular manufacturing process, LED and power supply failures remain isolated. For example the led Grow Light has 4 light engine modules with each module connected to its own power supply. If a LED or part of the circuitry fails, one module will shut off while the remaining 3 modules of the light continue to function. Replacement parts are then shipped to the customer for on-site repair. It's that easy.
