A Eugenia spanish 5 landscapes 23 x 27 cm olieverf op karton

Alonso Eugenia was trained in the school of Arts and crafts in Barcelona, where he had as teachers José Morell and Teodoro Miciano. Figurative artist, he express himself in all techniques but with a preference for the use of the pastel, in which he achieved excellent quality, paying special attention to the Catalan landscape, without shunning the figure that he depicts with singular domain. His oil painting, on the other hand, is characterized by a strong colour. Throughout his career he has taken part in exhibitions and competitions, being awarded with the first prize in the Exhibition of Teruel (1974), the first prize Victoria de Plata (1978) and the Special Prize Cer­tá­men Villa de Pa­la­mos (1981). His solo exhibitions include those held in Barcelona rooms Verona (1975) and Majestic (1975) and in Igualada, in the Gallery D'ara (1980). He is currently represented in various private collections
