Presented for auction is a one-of-a-kind, original artwork, direct from the studio of Hungarian American artist, Barbara J. Koltai.Born and raised in the California’s Bay Area, she is currently living and creating in Budapest, Hungary.Barbara graduated with a degree in fine arts from the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute, and her paintings, illustrations, designs, and sculptures and have been displayed, published, and sold in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

My process is an autotelic one - a term derived from the Greek words auto, meaning “self,” and telos meaning “goal” or “end.” As an autotelic activity,art is done for itself; a subconscious dialogue, in the realm of ‘flow’ between the muse and myself.
I am merely the gesture by which it speaks.
