Velocipede 1870 3102-21

Vélocipède circa 1870

This bicycle has green-painted wheels, 36-inch driving and 30-inch rear.
The iron frame is painted black  with conventional brake mechanism intact.
The brake is operated by twisting.
The bicycle is fitted with  26-inch handlebars with later wooden grips, hock rests, a good and original seat pan, 8-inch cranks and triangular pedals.
The wheels are sound, certainly useable, and the iron tyring is tight and probably original.
