Antiek Soumak vloerkleed - 310 cm - 240 cm

A fantastic and genuine early 19th century Soumack , Sumak, Sumac flat weave rug from region of old Azerbaijan. Measuring 310 x 240 cm ( 10 x 7.8 ft ) , this rare piece has all the attributes belonging to the antique Soumak pieces. Very decorative rug it still has its beautiful faded colours and although has few defects like holes, fraying and wear all over, but these do not diminish its past glory. I have carefully washed and cleaned it but needs some restoration. For those rug enthusiast who wants to own a rug belonging to almost two hundred years old, this piece with its fair price would be a good selection.
