Verenigde Staten van Amerika - Official US Army Soldiers DUTCH Language Guide - Airborne - Ranger - Market Garden - Nijmegen - 1943

Up for auction is a very nice and RARE 1943 copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-607 entitled "Dutch Phrase Book". It covers many useful Dutch words and phrases. These booklets were issued to the troops just prior to the invasion of Europe, to facilitate interrogation and communication of/between Dutch nationals, resistance members, etc. Interesting 100% original example. This one is one of the best that we were ever able to offer, it is really in great condition. Note that some photo's make the book look more yellowish due to the sun light, this is not the case in real life.
