Nice 100% original WW2 USA A-11 Leather Flying helmet, complete with the original manufacturer label, which is dated 1944. Made by the ''Bradley-Goodrich Incorporated'' Company''. Very honest USAAF WW2 flying helmet, all straps and press/studs are there. The leather is in beautiful condition and the helmet is fully functional. It also has a nice logo of the USAAF still.
The A-11 leather flying helmet was introduced in August 1943 and saw use throughout the war in Europe, by pilots and aircrew of the American Air Force.
This leather flying helmet was officially called “Helmet, Flying, Intermediate, Type A-11” with a spec number of 3189/3189-B. This was a popular flying helmet in WW2 and it can also be seen being worn in the film “Kelly Hero’s” by Sgt Oddball.
100% original USAAF WW2 flying helmet in nice condition.
