Quadrangular covered porcelain jug from the Kangxi period (1662-1722). Famille verte enamel decoration with motifs of rocks, branches, flowers, foliage, birds and butterflies on the long sides, and with 'hundred antiques' motifs on the short sides. The contours are underlined with floral and stylized motifs. Surmounted by a yellow enamelled handle imitating bamboo. Silver spout.
